Tampa Bay’s own Fabrica wood fired pizza (101 7th Street south) was just named one of the best pizzerias in the United States by an Italian news outlet. “The pizza is thin with a slightly crunchy crust and the consistently fresh ingredients complete it perfectly,” write the editors. “A note of merit goes to the swift and professional waitstaff, always very accommodating.” The editors were especially enamored with the chorizo pizza. This is the second year in a row the outlet has listed Fabrica as one of the best pizza destinations in the US.
In 2022, Fabrica ranked 49th out of 50. In 2023, Top 50 Pizza named it the 15th best pizzeria in the US. The restaurant first began in 2015 Tampa’s Channel District. “It’s where authenticity, quality, modernity, and convenience intersect to create a contemporary Italian fast casual experience,” write the owners. Neapolitan pizza is at the core of the restaurant’s offerings, along with salads, sandwiches, snacks and desserts, all in a fast, made-to-order experience.
